Legoland!!

We went to Legoland this year as our after tax season vacation. It was perfect for the boys and for a very preggo mom because most the rides are very mild and the park wasn't open super late so the days weren't too long for me! :) Jaxon is still asking when we are going again. The boys both loved everything in Legoland, but neither one really liked the Sea Life Aquarium. (Spencer is a bit of a chicken which is why we have never taken him to Shark Reef!) Spencer's favorite rides were the races cars and the roller coaster. He is sooo my kid - he rides the whole time with his hands up! I was sad I couldn't go on any of them with him! Both boys were also fascinated with the mini cities. I thought they would think it was boring, but they LOVED it.

These are from the aquarium. The lego sand castle was their favorite part. :)

And of course Spencer and David on the roller coasters!
Alright, that's all you get for now. Blogger is being really slow and this is taking forever! :) BUT, you are now caught up with our April! On to May...

A little bit of Easter

Alright, time to do some major updating. We moved into our new house over Easter weekend. He are a few photos of the kids on the way to my mom's house and doing their egg hunt in her back yard. We did do an egg hunt at home among the boxes, but I only video taped it. The good news is, I haven't taken too many photos in the last few months because we have been so busy, so it shouldn't take too much to update! :)

By the way this is Spencer's new favorite pose. You will be seeing it a lot in the upcoming pics!

boys will be boys!

Spencer had a friend over and, of course, ALL the boys had to get dressed up and pose! I think that costume is about 3 sizes to big for Jaxon, but he couldn't be left out!

I give up! I am going current!

Okay, so I thought I was going to try to play catch up, but it is not really going to happen. It is just too far back, AND I really want to post some current stuff. For example, I just completed two bumper pads for my baby bedding so now I can take some pics! Here they are! I absolutely LOVE the way it is turning out. I can't wait to set it up for real. Right now Jaxon thinks the crib mattress makes a great new bed. He even brought down all his blankets from his bed and put them on! Silly boy!

Spencer's Birthday-the final chapter

Spencer pretty much had the most awesome birthday weekend ever! Birthday party with friends, then Disneyland, then presents from Mom and Dad and another party with David's family! For his birthday we gave Spencer a violin. It is the cutest thing ever. He loves it. I really should get him some lessons. At his party with the Wilcock's, LoraLeigh made him a giant cupcake. It didn't get eaten that night because everyone just ate the small ones and since we had so made parties and so much cake (we still had train cake), one day that next week after lunch I just let Spencer go to town! He is not much of a sugar kid, so he did really eat that much, it just made for some great pics!

Apparently our party was not very exciting for Bob! J/k! Actually my father in law just works way too hard!

Spencer's birthday part 2!

Since Spencer and my stepdad, Dave share a birthday and Disneyland let you get in free on your birthday, we figured what better way to spend the day! The kids had a blast with Grandma, Grandpa and Unlce Trent. Then just to top the day off, we met up with my brother and his family half way through the day who just happened to plan a trip that overlaped with ours! Needless to say, everyone had a blast!
(It is amazing how much your kids grow up in 9 months!)

Spencer and his cousins, Keegan & Kalea

(Spencer was so much braver with his older cousins around!)

^Uncle Trent - he left on his mission just two months later!

Spencer's birthday

Yes, I really have to go back THAT far! So he is a quick post about Spencer's birthday party. Forst, just pretend we are back to the end of April. His birthday is May 2nd, but we had the party ahead of time because we took him to Disneyland on his actual birthday(more to come on that). Spencer wanted a train party, so thanks to some great party websites, we had an awesome party! We had train tracks on the floor, a train cake, all the kids "became" trains and made matching train carts, a homemade train pinata and pin the face on Thomas. Spencer loved every minute and LOVED that all his friends were there. On a side note he has already picked his party themes for the next 2 years! Nothing like planning ahead!

Okay, okay....

Alright, My blog has been dead for a REALLY long time, but I have decided it is time to get back to blogging. I do plan on going way back to when I stopped, but I will try to make the catch up as quick and as painless as possible. :) For those of you who are only interested in the current, give me a few weeks! :)

I'm in love!

So I am not quite sure how I came across this website, but I love it. It is called handbagheaven.com. I have always really liked purses, but not over the top loved them or anything. Normally I just stick with shoes. :) HOWEVER, I am in LOVE with these bags right now. Now, I just have to convince David...
Is this not the cutest wallet you have ever seen. It is hard covered and lots of room inside!
These yellow one just says, "Hello, it's summer!"

I love this one too. So cute for a girls night out! Or date night!!
Ahhh...it is fun to druel! Hmm..now to find some matching shoes!

T-Ball!

So, thanks to my good friend Hailey, I was able to find a place for Spencer to start T-ball! He is actually almost done now, but we all know what a slacker I am on my blog! For as long as he has been old enough to answer, whenever I asked Spencer what he wanted to play, he would always say baseball. I didn't think there were any places where he could play before he turned 5, but NYS has t-ball for 3-4 year olds! Yea! Here are some cute pics from practice and his first game. They are so funny to watch!
This is right before his first practice. He seems to have forgotten how to smile normal lately! Can't wait for the professional one to come back! lol!

His first practice.

His first game! I have shorten his pants since then so you can see his cute socks! :)

A sneak peek of our weekend

Some good old family fun! (those are my parents rockin' the bottom pic!)

My tax season survival guide

Finally my computer is behaving again, so here is a really long post!!!

Step 1 - take a trip right before tax season starts. See previous Disneyland post.

Step 2 - have a crappy economy, so your husband won't have to work as many hours. (Not a necessity, but it definately helped!)

Step 3 - take a girls trip sometime during tax season. In this case it happened to be to Disneyland again! It was a very happy birthday to Heather and Amy and just plain fun for Chelsea and I!!!

Step 4 - Take a long trip to visit a relative during one of those last few crunch weeks. We went to visit my sister in Utah and the kids had a blast! I am not sure who had more fun! I was worried about traveling alone, but it wasn't as bad as I thought.

Step 5 - Celebrate the end of tax season with some much needed family time! We went to the lake, Lied's children museum and played some t-ball (those pics will be saved for their own post!)

That my friends is how I survived and survive I did!
