My tax season survival guide
Finally my computer is behaving again, so here is a really long post!!!
Step 1 - take a trip right before tax season starts. See previous Disneyland post.
Step 3 - take a girls trip sometime during tax season. In this case it happened to be to Disneyland again! It was a very happy birthday to Heather and Amy and just plain fun for Chelsea and I!!!

Step 2 - have a crappy economy, so your husband won't have to work as many hours. (Not a necessity, but it definately helped!)

Step 4 - Take a long trip to visit a relative during one of those last few crunch weeks. We went to visit my sister in Utah and the kids had a blast! I am not sure who had more fun! I was worried about traveling alone, but it wasn't as bad as I thought.
Step 5 - Celebrate the end of tax season with some much needed family time! We went to the lake, Lied's children museum and played some t-ball (those pics will be saved for their own post!)

I tried!
So I have a post with pictures have finsihed, but for some reason I can't get the second group of pics to post! It waits for forever and then gives an error, so I guess we will try again tomorrow...
Valentine's day - finally!!
Yes, it has really been that long! I would like to make my blog into a book one of these days, which is the only reason I am going back soooo far! So if you are looking for something more recent, you will just have to wait! As for us, for Valentine's day we just go out to a nice dinner somtime around Valentine's day and call it good. This year we went to Brio at Town Square. It was really yummy. We also decided to watch a movie while we had a babysitter. As for Valentine's day it was all about the boys. We started our day with some pink doughnuts for the boys and some cute homemade mini quiche for David and I. (I have a pic of this, but I am trying to make these old post short and sweet.) Then we headed out and to feed the ducks at Rhodes Ranch. My boys love this activity, even if my husband thinks we are going to get hit by a stray ball one of these days!
Okay, so the next part of our day was just plain funny. We bought Spencer a kite for Valentine's day and David was determined to fly it that day because Spencer was so excited about it. I tried and tried to tell him there was no way no how enough wind, but he knew best so off to the park we went. Well, as we all know, women know best and that kite went nowhere despite a very valiant effort from David! The kids still had fun running and rolling down the hill.
{Pictures were supposed to go here of attempted kite flying, but my computer sucks and I can't seem to get them uploaded! Luckily my new computer is coming soon!}
Pictures coming soon!
I have been very neglectful of my blog. It is just one of those things I want to do, but never get around to! BUT today I am finally taking the pictures of my camera, all 407 of them! Yes, I take a lot of pictures and yes it has been a while! So this week should finally be filled with some new posts! As for what's going on with us, not too much. I only have 5 more weeks of school left to teach and while I am not teaching again next year, I must say I am glad I did this year. It made me really appreciate staying home. I didn't realized how MUCH I missed it until Spring Break last week. Apparently working stresses me out. I was so relaxed while visiting my sister and yes I was on vacation, but it was more than that. I didn't HAVE to be out of the house at a certain time in the mornings, so I wasn't getting frustrated with the boys first thing in the morning and I was able to start my days out on a much better note. Anyway, it will be nice to stay home again. I am VERY grateful I get to. As for David, he just finsihed tax season, so it is nice to have him back. He didn't have to work as much as usual this year, which made things a lot easier, but he still gets stressed from work. I love that he only had to work 1 Saturday this year. It was great! Spencer just started tee ball, very cute pictures to come. And Jaxon, well, he's as cute and as troublesome as ever. He has finally started talking more, which is marvelous! And that's it. I have much to post, so as soon as these pictures finished downloading I will get started!
