Happy Anniversary!

So on Memorial Day we were celebrating David being home and our 7th anniversary. We had a wonderful day all day on Monday. We started it off by taking the whole family out to breakfast and both kids were amazingly good. Then we came home and laid the boys down for a quick nap and then it was off to bowling. We had never even tried to take Spencer bowling before, but he had a blast! It definately helped having his friend Cora there. :) Then we came home and laid both boys down and got a little bit of housework done. Then we got ready to go out. It was kind of a weird feeling getting ready in the middle of the day with no kids underfoot, but it was nice. Then we dropped the kids off at Tina and Radford's and went to the most amazing dinner I have ever had! David surprised me by taking me to the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. It was so beautiful! The food was amazing and the view, well, you can see for yourself it was spectacular! We had a great relaxing evening and we were home by 10! You can't beat that on a Monday evening! It was a great anniversary and I can't believe it has been 7 years. Hopefully tthey will all be this good!

Jaxon at breakfast. I just thought this was funny. :)

My boys! Sorry about the window!

This is what kept Spencer entertained at the restaurant

David's food! It was so pretty and I don't even like fish!

It's been a while!

I know it has been a while since I last posted anything. It was kind of crazy around here for a while. I was called as enrichment leader and we had our first big enrichment (a service auction) last week so I was going crazy planning that. Then I would of had time this last Sunday, but I could not find the camera. It was not a fun day. I could find my camera or my car keys! I hate losing stuff. I finally found the camera on Monday. My husband had put it his pants from the father and son's camp out and put them in the laudry basket, which when I was searching on Sunday, I had thought of and looked but didn't find it. Apparently it had fallen out so I found it when I did laundry on Monday. Then, I didn't find my keys until Tuesday evening. They were in my husband's car! I think when we went out to dinner on Tuesday I had them in my hand when I locked the front door and then for some reason dropped them on the back seat of the car when I buckled Jaxon in and forgot to pick them up. I really have no idea why I wouldn't have picked them up, but that's where they were! I was just glad I finally found them by that point! It is the only set we have for my car since David's keys were stollen back in September! Really I just hate losing things. I couldn't relax all Sunday because I was racking my brains trying to remember the last place I had my keys! Arrg! Anyway, that is my really long excuse on why I haven't posted, so sorry and enjoy!

Cowboy Up!

These pictures just make me smile. Jaxon was being so cute with David's hat, I had to grab the camera! He is starting to interact more and it has been so much fun!

Father and Son

David was brave enough to take Spencer to his first Father and Son's outing this last weekend. They weren't there long, but seemed to have a lot of fun. Spencer wanted nothing to do with me when he got home. Apparently I was not missed. :)

^Spencer kept talking about butterflies. Isn't this weird and cool?

^Spencer did not sleep well. No big surprise there!

Watch out Tiger Woods!

David took Spencer to the putting green at Rhodes Ranch a couple week ago. He had so much fun! He cracks me up the way he carries his golf bag around on his shoulder. The other day he threw it in the back of his toy truck and was off to play golf. It was too funny!

Happy Birthday Spencer!

Last Friday was Spencer's 3rd birthday. I can't believe he is 3 already! I know, I know, that is not very old, but still, he is becoming such a little boy these days. Friday David woke up early and made him Mickey Mouse pancakes and then later we went to visit David at lunch and that evening we went to Chuck E Cheese and Dippin' Dots. It was a lot of fun for Spencer. :) We also had a little party for him on Saturday. I have never seen him smile so much. I am sure his cheeks were sore by the end of Saturday. :)

Grammy and Jaxon - this was about the only time Jaxon was happy - he wasn't sure about all those people!

We decided to do the ribbons since it didn't open!
Candy!!!!
He loves to sing Happy Birthday to people, so he got a huge kick out of having everyone sing to him!
Make a wish!

Pool Party!

I have a group of good friends who all had babies within a week of each other and then Jaxon's birthday is a few months later. Last week we got together to celebrate all the boys 1st birthdays. My friend, Chelsea, is the only one who didn't have a baby celebrating and is a great photographer, so she took pictures for all of us. It was great being able to just enjoy ourselves and not spending our time behind the camera. Thanks again Chelsea!
All the Birthday Babies!

I made these cupcakes for the boys. I thought they looked cute (and they were really good) but Chelsea's photography skills make them look really fancy. :)

As you can see by their faces, the boys all loved their cupcakes!
