One step closer...

Jaxon is getting closer and closer to crawling. He gets up on his knees and rocks and sometimes moves his knees. Now if only he could figure out the arms....

I am a little nervous about how Spencer will react once Jaxon figures out crawling. He likes to freak out if Jaxon gets or even comes close to his toys now. And Jaxon's whole motivation for crawling is that he is going to be able to reach his brother's toys! I think I might be in trouble. It was really funny the other day when Spencer decided to have a crawling "race" with Jaxon. He got on his hands and knees next to him and said, "ready, set, go!" Needless to say, Spencer won.

We went to Macayo's on Friday and Spencer did a great job eating at dinner, so he got a sucker on his way out. As you can see, he was really enjoying it!

Jaxon has finally decided he can sit up and play by himself. It is a very happy day! He also has decided he loves the camera. Everytime I get it out he is all smiles. I can't decide if he likes the camera more or the flash! :)

Before he sees the camera...

...and instant captivation!

You can also see his two new bottom teeth really well in this picture!

He looks like he's ready for school! Too bad mom is not!

Say Cheese!!

Jaxon has started to babble. If you listen carefully you can hear him say MaMa. Yeah! :) He can actually say it even better than this, but everytime I get the camera out, he just stares at it and stops talking!

On Friday I watched my friend Amy's little boy for a little bit while she went to visit her sister in the hospital, the boys were being so cute together. The found each other facinating.

On Valentine's Day we had a few of Spencer's friend's over to make pizza and decorate sugar cookies. The kids had a blast and Spencer got to play with Grisham for a while afterwards while Tina and Radford went out for a Valentine's day lunch. The boys had a blast, but after such a busy day Spencer crashed on the couch. :)

I also cut my hair again this week, let me know what you think. It is kind of hard to get a good visual of it from this picture, but I couldn't seem to get a better one. Yes, it is really short, but you have to try to know if it will look good, right. And hair will always grow back. :) I think I like the way I had it better, but I have gotten a lot of complements on this too.

Both boys were sick on Monday. Jaxon was getting a tooth and Spencer just had a cold. I took this picture Monday night because poor Jaxon just looked pathetic. He did have a new tooth break through about 2 hours before I took this. Poor kid.

Here's the tooth! As you can see, he is much happier now. :)

I have been letting Spencer play with the camera lately. He loves to take pictures. This is the only one that turned out okay. Of course I had to do some moajor cropping, but not too bad for a 2 year old. :)

This is Spencer singing and playing the piano. He is actually not to bad to listen to. He plays really nice most the time. I think he was singing a song he made up about trains in this picture.

Funny Story of the Week!

As you can hopefully see from the picture, poor Spencer broke out in a rash this week. I think he is allergic to Amoxicillin. Anyway, he woke up on Tuesday and the rash looked pretty bad so I said to him, "Oh, Spencer, you are all broken out." He got a very sad look on his face and said, "No, I'm not broken." I thought it was hillarious. The look on his face was priceless. :)

Here is Jaxon attempting to crawl. I call it the "face-plant crawl." :)
okay, last song.
I believe this is Spencer singing Take Me Out to the Ball Game. AKA the "Baseball Song" at our house.
This is Spencer singing. He loves to sing these days. He will sing with anything whether he knows the words or not! He also love to make up songs! David and I have become very good at making up songs, mostly about trains. :)

I just took this picture of Jaxon the other day. He will eat anything these days. He was really happy to be back in his big bath tub after the water heater was fixed. :)

This is my new favorite family picture. My friend Chelsea took it for us before Christmas. I just love it!
